Team Canada’s hockey sweaters may have been leaked online and, while they’re not as bad as the US version, at least one player does not appear impressed.
A photo of Chicago Blackhawks forward Jonathan Toews wearing what appeared to be the new red and white jersey was posted on the website of photo provider Getty Images on Thursday., but appears to have been removed from the site. It was later posted on Reddit.
That will apparently be the sweater Team Canada will be wearing when they attempt to defend their gold medal this February. Immediately after this picture started to make the rounds, people started freaking the hell out about it. Claiming it looks like a cheap knockoff, or that someone’s grandmother made it.
Hockey Canada will unveil and launch the jerseys that it's men's, women's and sledge hockey teams will wear at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi on October 8, what do you think?
